Hey How's It going. I don't know if this info will help You or not but here You go. I just went throught the same swap out. I had just two dome lights up front. But I wanted the temperature and compass read out. If the picture loaded right there should be a crappy drawing of the 13 prong plug and if you are looking at the plug from the front. The voltage readings that I used for my truck are as follows. Good Luck.

I did this upgrade with my 2002, and while it was a pain in the @ss, it is very possible. Funny thing is, when I went to the stealership parts counter, they told me that it couldn't be done! Hah!
I bought all of my parts on Ebay, and in my first effort, I actually ended up buying a whole set for the earlier 2nd gen. Doh! Mislabeled.
If anyone is interested in the digital console, all harnesses, and digital mirror (I think), please PM me.
Otherwise, I'll put it back on Ebay. I'd just rather not, as it's a pain, and I don't have the time. This stuff has just been in a box in my garage for almost a year now!

earlier 2nd gen... so it is what would have come in say a '97? what color is it? about how much do you need for it?

I thought that it was the same from 1994-2001, but this ebay listing says it's the same from 1994-1997.

If the link doesn't work, just search Ebay for 'Ram overhead Console'. I think they only come in the grey/beige (or at least that's all I've seen).

I can be reasonable, but figured $100ish? I believe I have the auto-dimming mirror too, but won't know until I return home Sunday (I'm out of town right now)

While I'd be surprised you don't have it, I wouldn't be too upset about the lack of MPG reading. I don't think I've ever heard someone claim it to be accurate at all. lol

 

94-97 the interior is the same, and in 98 they changed it and it stayed the same from 98-01, though the truck pretty much stayed the same from 94-01 the made changes to the dash, and driveline in 98 which pretty much made it a different truck inside.

 

While I'm not 100% sure, I do think the overhead console didn't change from 94-01.
