keep a close eye on the tranny temp after you get it running, keep it below 176º.
when my transmission was rebuilt the guy bypassed the stock tranny cooler and put one like yours on. after the test drive he couldn't figure out why the trans was getting hotter than he wanted it to. after some guesswork he figured out that it is that style transmission cooler and vowed never to use them again.
he put one of these on and its staying cool now.
