The post immediately before yours - he replaced the belt. Other options, remove belt as described earlier and cleann all pulleys. make sure tensioner is tight and functioning properly.

I had bad squealing on mine. Replaced the belt with a goodyear gatorback. No more squeal.

"Belt dressing" or "belt conditioner" is trash. Dont buy it. I have never seen a case where it helped anything. It just amplifies your belt squeal and makes a mess. I cant believe its even available for purchase still.

I dont know it resolved the squealing issues on both my truck and my boat last year and the squeals havent returned? Maybe some brands work better than others?

I could see it masking other issues and leading to failure but if the tension is right and the belt looks good but has a glossy surface due to a previously loose tension issue than it can help.
