Default Ignition Wire problem and Tune-Up Questions

Finally today me and my buddy got my headers to work right and leak exhaust. But I noticed the truck was running a little rough. We took it around the block and it felt as if it had no ***** what so ever. To install the headers we unplugged the battery and all the ignition wires because there in the way. But come to find out tightening up the bolts after it warmed up one of my wires was lying on one of the headers and the plastic surrounding it was melted so we yanked the plastic off and the wire came with it! But it doesn't look as if though it's been melted more like snapped. So I'm trying to decide on what wires and plugs and distributor cap and rotor to get to do a tune-up. Also I can't find the TSB wiring diagram since I don't remember what it's called. This is very upsetting but luckily I have been meaning to do a tune-up for a while. I'm curious also if I need a new coil. It seems no one really has one or my searching abilities have gotten worse. I found this one but I don't know if it will work. This is what I have found but if you have a better recommendation I'm all ears.

go with msd sf wires, 5532 is the p/n. 40 bucks, and you can take a set home from advance. it was like 39.xx after tax here. but to get it from there, i had to have them look it up by part number. auto zone lists it an a performance wire set.
though advance is cheaper by a few bucks

heres a link

Is this the TSB you're after?

try some E3 plugs. they're know to add a few ponies. you can get thm at advance. i think like 6.99 a piece.

and MSD wires are awesome i have some 8.5 mm wires (85.99) so they are good conductors, and give me lots of power compared to the regular wires.

Distributor cap/rotor. i would go with MSD again. combo kit (advance and i think AZ as it.)

If it were me, I'd keep the coil that's on it now, and get a $30 set of wires. The rest looks good, too many on here pay for stuff they don't really need.$16.95 FOR WIRE LOOMS is madness IMHO.

Thank you Darrell that is exactly what I was looking for! I bought the MSD 8.5's and the E3 plugs off summit for $107!! Now I need to get the cap and rotor and what about that Coil I posted? I know I need a new coil. It's the stock one from when the truck was built :P I didn't get the wire looms, just the wires and plugs. Gonna get the other stuff locally hopefully. But I am worried about the Coil not working to its optimum performance ya know?

Any recommended coils for our trucks then? It seems like MSD doesn't make any for my truck so I don't really know what to do.

I have run both the Accel and MSD,(check the sig) both are an upgrade from a stock coil. You can use the Accel harness adapter, which you will need also to run either coil(about 24 bucks IIRC, from summit). Just good luck getting the orginal bolts for the coil off, they are one BIG PITA.
