Dana Super 60 Installed!
Well here's what my baby's rear end looks like now:
Here's what I did:
Relocated the leaf spring perches and shock mounts.
Had to buy new flex lines for the disc brakes (thanks to the PO cutting them!) I just used my existing brake lines, made some bends to take up slack and attached the new flex lines.
I had to buy new parking brake cables (from www.rockauto.com) and move the parking brake cable bracket foward and bore out the holes a bit, since the SRT's cables were a hair bigger than mine. I had to move the gas tank to get access to the nuts holding the bracket to the frame.
I had to have someone else modify my driveline, (actually the only reuse part was the front yoke and slip yoke, my driveline tube was all dented up thanks to some gnarly rocks!) I had them install a Dana Spicer 1450 Series yoke to match the rear end pinion yoke.
I decided while I was in that deep that she needed helper springs:
And some new sneaks (38x15.50's on 18" Rockstars):
And a new(more) lift (3" PA BL) to fit the new meats!
PM me with any questions I'll answer whatever I can, or tell you where/how to get the information.
