Default Uh Oh...Warped Head?

ok so i took off my Valve covers to replace the gaskets, and i found at the top where it meets the head, the seal is wavy, and i can push it flush with my fingers

I found a very very small coolant leak comming from above the water pump (not the water pump itself further up.) I have changed all of the hoses and water pump, fan clutch just 2 months ago.

now its all dry where its separated but maybe its leaking from the top down to where alt. is (cant see right there)

So where the valve cover mounts. on the top side where it meets the head there are spaces in there looking like its warped.

the truck runs excellent, its full of collant and i havent added coolant since i did the wp 2 months ago. The oil is nice and clean and up to the perfect level. So is this something i should be aware of to fix?

more than likely it is the valve cover that is warped...can happen if it is over tightned.

are they stock valve covers?

they will probably straighten out when you tighten the bolts

its not the valve cover itself. with the valve cover off, the base that it sits on and at the top where it meets the head,(unless that is what you're talking about) thats where it looks warped.

i made a thread about valve cover gaskets too. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ve-covers.html
put your fel pro gaskets on and keep an eye on your oil for coolant contamination and watch the covers for oil leaks.
its a good idea to re-torque the cover bolts at every oil change because they have a tendency to work themselves loose. that or use blue loctite before installing them.
the torque is 95 in-lbs by the way.

just saw the pic. uh-oh. it looks like your intake manifold is blown out. why? i don't know.
