i got the hughes plenum, hughes intake gaskets, new thermostat/gasket, tb/air gaskets, dist.cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil, fuel injector 0-rings, pcv valve and breather

all of that for a measly 300 total, and if you could feel the way things go on this truck now its incredible. worth every cent, not joke it feels like new truck. ive only had the truck for about 10K now, and the plenum must have been shot when i got it. i knew the intake gaskets were leaking. but wow

and after i took it for the first ride, checked down in the TB to varify, and i was happy to see silver all over the place (very clean)...gives me a warm feeling

if i hadnt of come to this forum, i would have never have known about the plenum.
So thanks for all the great info here peeps

and i cant post pics, cuz i took the pics on my phone...

sry Miami bout the new thread thing

how do you like the 4.10 rear?

i put in 3.90s about 6 years ago and have gotten used to it. i really liked the getup when i did it. i know everything works like it did when i did it...but have been considering the swap to 4.10s especially since i have been toying with it more and see the track more often.

i run 265 with it, and well since i did what i just did, its like a whole new truck, and it tears it up. i think its perfect for the tire size im runnning, i got lots of power. i wanna get mine to the track and see what it runs, cuz it feels like that about 5.5-7 seconds is how fast my truck gets to 60. grabs and goes

but all in all i havent ever felt any sluggishness with hills or the pulling ive done so far
