did you put on new o-rings. buy them in sets at local auto part. lube with vaseline to prevent damage during install.

don't run it with leaking gas... boom.

+1, new orings or they are not seated all the way. And actually you didn't even need to remove the fuel rail or the injectors to begin with. But that's besides the point now.

bad advice from haynes.
i left my rail with injectors attached to the manifold. it makes a good lifting handle.

if all of them are leaking, they might not be seated. pull them all out and check. you'll have to anyway.

Don't believe every thing you read, besides, it does not matter now. They are not seated right or the orings are torn, simple as that.

its pretty easy too. timing chain is easy as well.....maybe i should do that since its all apart?? but i dont hav slack and my gears/chain looks alright (when i did the timing cover 2 months ago...shoulda replaced it...

i actually like working on my truck, usually i'm alone, i got the radio playing some tunes and the wrenches turning, until i drop one, in 20 gallons of nasty gear oil (i have done this, when i did a complete fluid and filter change on the Oliver 1850, the oil in the trans was white, water contamination, and i dropped a wrench in it and that stuff had the most god awful smell)

the reason for the timing chain is, my truck will have nearly 100,000 miles on it by this winter and i have no clue if it has ever been changed, so why not
