Aamco
I have my transmission rebuild in February 2009. After 6 months it starts to break(have really hard time to switch gears. Before it switch to the 4th gear it goes back to 2nd gear and then switch to 4th). I went there the first time, they fix it,after a week the transmission is down again, went to aamco they fix it,after another week again same problem, went to aamco and they told me it was my catalic converter, they were right and I fix it. After that went to see them again and they make a cable adjustments, after week same problem AGAIN!!! I think there is a problem inside the transmission and they just don't want to fix it under warranty,so they make cable adjustments all the time until my warranty expires.
My question is can I claim them to return my money? And if they will not agree to that can I file a lawsuit agains them?
I spend $2600 on the transmission. For that kind of money I expect them to done a GREAT job.
My car is 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 5.9L

Today I'm going there again to have the cable adjusted. Hope this time they will do it right.

What I am trying to say is, if they keep adjusting the cable it's just to mask an internal problem. If the cable was adjusted to factory specs, the tranny probably wont work at all. And by fix it, I meant the tranny.

I understand what are you saying. I'm sure the transmission sooner or later will fail. And probbly this will happened after my warranty expires.
