Bed size 2" wider at the cab?

Yep. I discovered this a couple months ago. I bought two tailgate protectors with the intention of using one for the front of the bed. To my surprise, when I laid it on top of the bed there was a much larger gap on the sides compared to the tailgate. I thought maybe one was shorter than the other, but that wasn't the case. The bed is indeed wider at the cab.

thats wierd...if yours and your familys are wider at the tailgate...then that would mean that our tailgates arent interchangeable.

I'm a bit jealous of that. I have the regular old pain in the *** style toneau with the bows and 200 snaps, and if it's below 80 degrees it shrinks and it's a pain the *** to get back on.

this cover is probably my favorite mod...EVER!!!! i love it!
everything stays dry...i can roll it up and haul my gooseneck...haul a 4wheeler...cover it up and go shopping...it doesnt flap...its adjustable for winter/summer (contracting)...has been on there for 4 years...lifetime replacement on the frame...I LOVE IT!
