Hey guys in the past week my engine started knocking so we ripped it down needs a new rod and such. i had another 360 sitting there that im just going to drop in. im going to rip the one in the truck the rest of the way apart and see how bad it is before i decide to sell it off in parts. but if any one needs heads it has chryler remaned ones on it that only have been on the truck for 9,000 miles and we checked them over and there perfect yet. i will make a complete listing of parts after i decided what im going to do for sure. the motor is out of a 2001 ram with 128,000 on it.

my friends say i should rebuild it to a 406!

I may be interested in the heads, I'd like both. Where are you located? Are the heads just stock reman or is there anything done to them? I'm more worried about them being the usual cracked heads so thats why I'm asking these questions. How much would you like for the pair and does anyone know if these will bolt up to a 97' with no issues? I saw that the 98+ years had a 15 hp increase, just want to make sure these would be bolt on and go...thanks!

 

the heads will bolt right on your truck with no problem. the heads are stock chrysler remans that were put on my truck about 9,000 miles ago. im located in MN im not sure what i want for them as of yet. i will know more saturday.

 

Keep me posted! I'm rebuilding a 360 with bad heads right now. I was thinking about putting performance heads on it with a cam and blah blah blah...all the good stuff. But, I'm not exactly sure what direction I'm going yet. I bought a used engine to throw in my truck for the mean time, so depending on how it runs with this engine will determine what I end up doing with my other engine. Thanks man!
