Default What is this Wire for?

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you guys know what this plug is supposed connect with. I know that it does lead up to the same wires that the headlights are on. Could this be for the fog lights? Can someone with fog lights see if their truck has this wire connected to something? This is on the frame right behind the bumper and under the radiator. Thanks for any help!

+1 It receives a plug that branches off in to a Y form that go to the left and right fog light. From what I noticed, all trucks have them, but they aren't necessarily fully pre-wired for fog lights.

Thanks guys, my old truck didn't have this plug there, so I was curious to find out what it was. So now I have a starting place for fog lights.

Do not waste your time with figuring out the OEM wiring! Wire them with your own harness, switch and relay. It's way easier, and they will be brighter than factory.

If you have the switch then yes, they were there at one time and would not take much to reinstall. See if the foglite relays are in the PDC still. That would be a real telltale sign.

Its prewired for fog lights only up to the relays under the hood. LISTEN TO ZMAN!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Run a separate relay and wires for you fog lights.

Will do! I was just saying how I know where everything will need to go when I rewire! (since this would be a first for me)
