Yeah, mine look old. I don't know how long they've been in there, plus I do have a problem with misfire. I'm thinking the missing is mostly due to the plenum leak, but while I'm in there, I might as well upgrade. Then I'll know how long all my ignition parts have been there.

Thanks for everyone's help by the way!

I was thinking shop around as well. I know its easy to buy all the stuff at one spot but if it saves a few bucks it worth spending the time to shop. I'm a huge into shopping around and saving as much as I can.

Yeah I'm working on the shopping around. Thinking about the NGK V powers 5155 from summit.. 2.69/plug. Aim says they're the best he's tried.

I'd go with those NGKs.

I have the MSD Street Fire wires and love them. The quality is good and is worth the $40 I paid for them.

I ordered:

From Hughes:
Intake manifold
Thermostat Housing (couldn't find the housing anywhere else)

From Summit:
Hypertech 180 Thermostat
Mopar Cap and Rotor
MSD Street Fire Wires
Eight NGK V power Plugs <--Do these come pre-gapped??

Saved about Fifty bucks! Almost all of which went to shipping.

Thanks guys, my wallet doesn't feel as empty. I'm glad I asked for your opinions first!

They are pre-gapped, but like anything now-a-days, the quality control sucks.

gap them .038~.040.

Is .038/.040 better than the stock .035? On my truck it says to gap .035.

It probably has something to do with the five year truck difference.
