I believe earlier Rams did have a .035 gap. I believe they even take a different plug model number as well.

So I should keep it on .035. What are you using now Aim?

1998 went from a .035 gap to .04

I run .040 with an MSD ignition system. NGK V-power plugs.

Hmmm....all the parts stores in Phoenix and no ram parts? That's strange! Theres a parts store or more on almost every corner. Don't know where you shopped but the stores I worked at or traded with always had tune up parts.

But I degress...and I haven't been there in 3 years so I guess it could change. Guess you've ordered your parts, and hopefully it all works out well for you!

Well they have parts for my truck, but not many that are actually good parts. I see a lot of parts that most on DF treat like the plague (like Fram).

We also don't have a Advance Auto Parts store anywhere nearby.

I know there's guy here that works at honeywell and dont want to upset anyone.....But they (and free trade) are to blame for the demise of fram and autolite into nothing more really than a distribution name for crap made in tawain and mexico from what was once both well known american companies...
