I traded a 99' CR 250 dirt bike I had for sale on craigslist for $2000 for mine. The guy wanted some cash to go with it but I held out. I got it in Aug of 08' with 159,000 on it. Put $1300 into a reman tranny and $140 in registration and the rest is history. Not a bad truck for $3440.

My dad paid $5000 to my aunt in 2004. Had 118,000 miles then, and now has 175,000.

$550 Canadian back in Feb 08.

1995 5.2L 4x4 5spd single cab long box.

I have since all but completely torn it apart and put about $2000 into it.

It's a great truck and was a good learning experience doing all that work to it :P

well after hearing some of these prices, I feel even better about the deal I got. I know trucks hold value pretty well, but some people clearly overpaid.
