Ok now I have to find out to keep the low beam on when I switch to the High beam.

I can not use the daylight because I will not use them for the HID.

Anyone can Help?

its actually the fact that they are designed to go into projector style housings and when people who are ignorant of this put them into stock style housings they are a danger to others on the road....plain and simple....
You may very well end up getting pulled over once you replace your lenses with the non cloudy versions.... the projector style housings (like I bought and had no problem installing even though one of my front fenders is off a sport btw..takes 30 seconds to reform a small amount of steel with a hammer behind the light to get it to fit right and the projector style housings are only a little over $100 bucks...less than oem) are designed to have a narrow beam of light with a distinct cut off point as not to blind oncomming traffic because of the more intense lighting.

 

wrong these lights are 10 times more intense than oem halogens. so even off axis light is ten times as bright since the factory housings are less focused because they are designed to work with weaker bulbs...all vehicles that come with HID's have special projector type housings for them as well because of this.

 

All, i know that when I can afford it i am going to get one of these set ups.

yeah but money is the sport model so it has a different style light and the only aftermarket one i can get is a projector which i dont want to buy and i can get oem for dirt cheap so i am purchasing those, and i know people who have hids with stock lights and never been pulled over they only get flashed by people even with low beams on

 

Activate, what year is your truck and what model. you could try to phone the company and ask them about it or email them

 

HID's are already like ten times brighter than stock? do you really need them both at the same time?... come on? it might melt your housings...they are only designed for so much heat.

 

I am in The Netherlands so it wouldn;t be easy to call them......

I have a 98 with the sportheadlights.

There must be something on the internet I geuss.....

and the reason they get flashed by other is what??....because theyre blinding oncomming traffic and therefore are an ignorant menace to other drivers.....Some day you will be at the opposite end of this argument and see it from an adults point of view...
