Question Heat controller question!

Ok. My heat control in my truck is either just cold or hot, nothing in between. I can turn it slowly from either hot or cold and it does not change one bit until I get a little over half way, then it is just hot or cold. EVery other vehicle I owned gets cooler and hotter with each increment I turn the temp ****. Why is this on not working! Someone said on here before that they thought it might be the control pad behind the ****. Anybody got an answer!!

Sounds like a problem with the blend door.

the dash's are real easy to take apart in these trucks. take out the ash trey/drink holder (if those how yours is set up) and then the bezle pops off, and you'll be able to get to mostly everything.

but just so you know they arent supposed to be like that...mine gets cooler warmer whenever i move it. but i do have a new radiator, water pump, fan clutch, and thermostat
