clearance lights on toolbox

Default clearance lights on toolbox

well im getting a toolbox for the back of my truck for christmas. want im wanting to do it put 2 or 3 yellow clearance lights on the side of the box and have. and im wanting to put 6 of the red circular lights on the back side of the box and have the 3 on the left side blink with the left turn signal and the 3 on the right with the right turn signal. then i want them to all light up with the brake lights and also be lit up with the tail lights. what do u guys think? have any of u done this before?

nope. sounds cool. use relays and don't tap into existing wires to power the lights.

wouldnt i have to tap into the turn signal wires and brake light wires to make them flash with them?

true. im pretty sure i can do it. do u guys know if i can get some of those red lights that are 2 stage bulbs so they can be lit up with the tail lights and when i hit the brakes they will lit up brighter.

That'd be really cool..I've never seen that done before either.

I want to put some kind of lights on the back of my truck for whatever..but I don't want to have a roll bar (toolbox). So I thought about maybe putting two down by my hitch somewhere or something and using them as aux. lights wired to a toggle switch in the cab.

ya im putting 2 lights one both sides of my hitch on the back for aux lights and im wanting to put cab lights on it too. and ya i was thinkin that too about the trailer place

im putting all of my toggle switches up on the overhead console. should be pretty cool looking
