Arrow Wagner Brake Pads?

I called up my local O'Reilly AutoParts asking what brake pads they have in stock.

The quoted me:
House brand - $20
Mid-level - $45
Wagner Pads - $49

They said that the Wagners come with a lifetime warranty. You wear them out, they replace them.

Anyone have any experience with the Wagners? Do they leave brake dust all over your rims? I really hate that.

From my experience, ALL brake pads leave dust on your rims.

What are the Wagners? Semi-metallic or Ceramic?

I say, for $50 and lifetime warranty, buy em.

Detailed Description

Superior Stopping Power, Quiet Performance, Enhanced Durability

Patented IMITM Technology and Superior Friction Formulations Enhance Braking in Three Vital Areas:
  • Superior Stopping Power: Today, vehicles of every size and shape have to handle a wide range of brake heat and stress. This is where our OE brake manufacturing expertise makes a difference. Wagner engineers employ the same research, development, and testing used for our original equipment business to create premium, platform-specific brake pads for the aftermarket. The result is the exceptional stopping power of new ThermoQuietTM Disc Brake Pads. The superior formulations of ThermoQuiet ensure optimal performance.
  • Quiet Performance: ThermoQuiet pads feature the patented* IMI Sound Insulator design which represents the next generation in shim technology. With IMI, the insulator and backing plate are one piece, not simply attached with adhesive or rivets. Vibration created during braking is, therefore, distributed over the entire width and depth of the pad. The result is the Quiet Performance of ThermoQuiet.
  • Enhanced Durability: During normal braking, the one-piece insulator and backing plate absorb and dissipate heat over a greater surface area than ordinary pads. Heat causes friction material to break down. Because IMI dissipates more heat, this design results in a longer service life for brake components.

Dont know about the wagners but the brake pads on my truck are from autozone and have a lifetime warranty and its works good cause I go through brakes almost as much as I go through oil changes, they are ceramics though.
And I didnt notice much difference between pads other than the amount of brake dust

I just finished replacing my dads shoes with Wagner thermoquiet and I like them. He has a F 250 ext cab so there's more weight to stop. I'd go for it.

If your going threw pads that fast, then somethings up. I'll just leave it at that.

I know what the problem is, I like to go from 60-0 faster than the other way around and have the 2500 brake calipers which help me do that.

I just got new brakes all around two days ago from advance auto and was told that all the brakes they have only have a lifetime against defects not wear. Just like eddielx said
