yes you can buy whole new headlight assemblies with the proper lenses and reflectors for HID's most import or luxery cars with HID's are projector style enclosures...it seems these when aimed right are the least obtrusive to other oncomming traffic because of their focused beam and sharp cutoff....
The other thing to consider is if the truck is lifted....I never notice and high up vehicles with hid lights from the fatory because I think its very tough to get three times brighter light down on the road from so high without blinding other drivers as they pass by (especially elderly people)....my dad had eye surgery and sometimes those lights really get him good....he wont drive at night anymore (thats not the only reason).
looking back on the start of this I kind of lost it because of the smartass "yep" response about blinding everybody....HID lights are a good thing but if not done right and aimed right (many dont bother to re aim halogens after lifting or replacing enclosures and they are so dim in comparision to hid's they can get away with it)

In a nutshell older style halogen enclosures scatter the light too much and let too much stray light hit oncomming traffic in the mirrors and eyes so get hid enclosures or at least make sure you have the clear lenses.

The earlier Priuses, for example, did not use projector style lights, but did use HIDs. You can use HIDs just fine, if done properly, without projector style housings.

Thank you for apologizing over "losing it" and being a good guy. I agree with you, guys who don't aim HIDs properly **** me off as well.

Looks like we have another Viper on our hands.

Look kid, if you don't like someone's modification, either use constructive criticism or butt out. Every single post you made, I think, in this thread has been unnecessarily aggressive and argumentative. Not attempting to be the "forum police" (as someone many weeks ago accused me of attempting), but I feel I had to throw my two cents at you.

As far as where to get HID kits, stay away from eBay if possible. I'm an eBay junky, but I'll be the first to say most kits there are junk, although you'll occasionally get a gem. DDM Tuning is a good place to get HIDs, and good prices as well.

Okay heres some pictures.

This is before my lights were adjusted. By the way, JasonW these headlights I bought from you are great but are extremely complicated to get aimed correctly lol.

And somebody asked for a picture of my truck. I think this is the most recent. Sorry it took a while to get pics. Been stripping cotton non-stop.

And, yea I love my lights. They're great, so those of you who like to criticize, please leave your criticism out of my posts. Thank you.

Looks like a pure blinder, congrats on your great night time view !
I was thinking about upgrading my night time view, but naw, I think I'll just drive around with my hi beams on, that'll do.
People get annoyed, screw em, not my corneas being assaulted.
