You guys are utterly unbelievable.

The light in my truck goes out as far as the left most pattern in his photo, and I don't blind people. The light in that photo is a bit patchy, but that can usually be fixed with some aiming, as he said he had done/is doing.

Both of you need to refer to the latter part of post #37.

OK, guys, if you can't disagree respectfully, then some of you may find yourselves on the bad end of a short vacation. Don't like a particular modification? Then say so and state why without getting personal or insulting. This will be my only warning. Play nice or get iced.

Just in case some of you forgot:

2. While debating and discussion is fine, respect your fellow enthusiasts. Being of a diverse background, members are likely to express different opinions, and while opinions may differ from yours, they are just that, opinions; and everyone is entitled to express theirs freely. We will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, or personal attacks. Do not flame, bother, bug, disrespect, hound or taunt ANYONE on the forums or through private messaging or chat room. If we feel a thread is getting out of hand we will close or delete it. You can/will lose your posting privileges if you continue this type of behavior.

12. While these rules cover most common situations, we cannot anticipate everything. Therefore, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure our site is not disrupted or abused in any way.

14. Moderators and Administrators have final word in anything and everything. If you have a problem or a complaint direct it to them, not to the general forums. They will then take the appropriate actions. This applies to issues with the forum in general, as well as issues with other members.

thank you!!! u guys r whining over personal mods that we put on our trucks to make them look good, i mean that is what almost everyone does on this site with their trucks, ur criticizing their mod so badly and being so mean about it, all u would have to say is " im personally not in HID's cuz the brightness is too much but for u all who have them, please reposition your lights for oncoming traffic or try to obtain the glares enclosures" see thats all just be polite about it instead of b!tch!n and complaining about it, if u be polite about it that causes less problems, now is there anyone who wants to apologize? less just keep the peace and keep exchanging advice nicely

Just did, I see you forgot all about the
Not attempting to be the "forum police"
thing.
You want to pat him on the back and say job well done, thats your option.
Kindly don't tell me what my opinion has to be or how I have to word it, I have to take censure from mods, but not from you.
He made this public by putting it on a public forum, and he'll have to take the good with that bad and, honestly, I don't think its as if he cares all that much.
Lots of folks out driving with blazing headlights, think they care ?
Nope, the brighter the better, as you can tell, I'm really sick of it, and I put on my hi beams as soon as I see them now, and leave them on until we pass each other.
They're gonna blind my ***, I'm going to blind theirs - And I'm considering installing some off road beams, so I can switch them on and really throw some light their way.
Every single morning going to work, every single night driving around, more & more of these jokers, I'm just hoping that its a fad that will pass, or else they'll pass laws banning this crap.
They banned those ground effect lights, those are far less distracting than these.

I'm against this, I have stated why, that is my opinion, and I have not personally insulted anyone.

And oh by the way, surferdude, very clever of you with the message "lets all be nice" while mixing in your flame bait of "u guys r whining" & "be polite about it instead of b!tch!n and complaining".
I could as easily, and with higher justification, accuse you of the same, but its your yahoo chat writing style that bugs me the most, kindly speak like an adult, please.

Thank you for apologizing over "losing it" and being a good guy. I agree with you, guys who don't aim HIDs properly **** me off as well.

Looks like we have another Viper on our hands.

Look kid, if you don't like someone's modification, either use constructive criticism or butt out. Every single post you made, I think, in this thread has been unnecessarily aggressive and argumentative. Not attempting to be the "forum police" (as someone many weeks ago accused me of attempting), but I feel I had to throw my two cents at you.

As far as where to get HID kits, stay away from eBay if possible. I'm an eBay junky, but I'll be the first to say most kits there are junk, although you'll occasionally get a gem. DDM Tuning is a good place to get HIDs, and good prices as well.
I believe those early priuses had the clear glass lenses though which I already mentioned seem to be ok since they dont shatter and deflect the light out of the intended path as much...and many of that style had deflector (chrome thing at end of bulb) at the top of the bulb to help keep the light on the road as well...
like I said I have nothing against HID's if installed right..(I'm even putting them on my dads truck because his vision isnt as good)...its all those out there who half *** it and make driving unsafe for others but are mostly too young or ignorant to care about anyone else but themselves.....and no I'm not directing that last comment to anyone. I think its a fair statement to make and reasonable thing to ask. Its not like this is a modd that doesnt effect others when not done right.

viper would be bowing down to endisnear because he is in love with HID lights.

as far as getting a good set, don't the guys on DT rave about the HIDs by Twiggy?

ha. you can really say "screw em" if you have some off road lights to blast them with when they flash you for having your high beams on.
