They also showed a demonsation on how it can travel through all the ports in the motor faster than most oils. How it can clean out the engine, and that theres a solution inside the oil that wraps around sludge and brings out when the oil is drained.

The class was about 8 months ago so give me time to remember more.

This is just me personally, but when a company gives a class about why there merchandise is the best, it really set's alarms off. I'm sure there are a lot of other brands that do the same thing. To each his own though.

Fuel Injectors- need help with this.
Watch out when buying your FIs. Do not go with Accel. I have tested those as well as other bargain brands and, they are junk. The only ones to look for are the Bosch. Just be exactly sure to match up the flow rate, impedance and lbs / hr rating otherwise, your going to have issues.

And the Mobil 1 class, they had visual demonstations with other synthetic oils, and then the Mobil 1. They used it on this little motor that would spin a dowel. then they would put weight on it, the other synthetics oils would make the dowel "seize" up after about 2-4 weights were put on (Penzoil, Castrol, Kendall, and Quaker State.) Then when the Mobil 1 was demonstated it was able to handle 6 of the weights, and was still going. the 7th made it "seize"

I guess that demonstates the "Under Load" and how it helps. There were other demonstations, but im not going to explain all of them...unless your interested
That test is bogus and is nothing short of a sales and marketing ploy to get you to buy their product.

However, there is an industry standard, four-ball wear test per ASTM D-4172 that shows Mobile 1 to be the least effective against engine wear as compared to to six other brands of motor oil.

Amsoil proved to show the least amount of wear and to provide the best lubrication per that test standard.

I would also watch out which kind of filter you choose to go with as some are very restrictive and prevent oil flow. Some K&N oil fiters have this issue. it had caused the oil pressure to go way up beyond what it should have been and impeded oil flow. FYI

The oil is not a prob, the filter however, as good as they may claim it is, I would still get a Wix or Baldwin or even NAPA Gold. And I may not have read the whole thread, But, didn't you just do the plenum with a Hughes plate? Now you are getting a second one?
