Because junk from Harbor Fright Chinese trash company can get people killed. A co-worker of mine was jacking up his truck with a harbor freight jack, the saddle cracked and the whole truck slipped off.
Lucky for him the jack stands were still under the truck otherwise he would have lost body parts.
Ever see the warnings that say never work on a vehicle solely supported by a jack? Now you know why. Its not a cheap tool thing. It is a safety thing.
Also forgot to mention we work on some pretty big stuff at work tractor trailers. I see the cheap tools working just as good as the expensive. Say what you will I laugh at all the Mac, Snapon, etc buyers. I used to buy Craftsmen myself. Don't buy much tools anymore but I wouldn't waste the money on big names anymore either. Everyone has their preference though.

^^ Every heard of good tools, like Hazet? Made in Europe and definitely last. Mac and Snap-On are great for making the mechanic poor and the Snap-On driver rich, but I'll be damned if I ever use another piece of garbage from HF ever again.
