Default Under seat sub in a Reg. Cab?

Anyone know of plans for a box to fit under the front seats. Have seen the JL cost as much as gold option for the center but that is not in the cards.

Any ideas or experiences are welcomed.

6x9 in front 5.25 on rear what is everyone's thought on converting these to 6.5 all around? Easy ?

Ya lots of options for extended cabs out there. I need the space behind my seats if at all possible. If not then I guess I'll make do with the stock locations maybe build a down facing in front of the middle seat .

pioneer makes some but only with shallow subs, think they would sound good due to the space inside your cab

While reasonable to post "try a search." I have and It seems that either, I now have lost my search foo on the sight or the recent changes/fix have made it strong/weak in that I really get tons of threads that have nothing to do with under seat boxes for regular cabs.

New question whats the difference between the second and third gen center seats? seems to be more options for the third.

thats because the search goes by the most recent posts and it looks for every word you key in. so if you put subwoofer box then it'll bring up every post with subwoofer and every one with box in it. same with front and seats.

edit. i tried, sub and box are too short for the search.

You have to use "" marks to really get anything out of the search.

Now, Im a standard cab and I am and am running two standard size 10" Eclipse woofers. I dont have them under the seat but rather behind the seats. They fit perfect. The only thing you really have to do is remove the storage racks. For the life of me, I cant understand why taking out the storage racks is a fate worse than death. They cant hold much in the first place and usually become a catch all. If you really need storage solutions look at a tool box or something.

As for the idea of making one yourself, since you claim you can make it, then one would assume you would be able to get a tape measure and fab up some plans.

I have a regular cab as well and was forced with making a similar decision, I was thinking about going with the shallow under seat pioneer sub system. But instead went with this, this box is only 19.99 from subbox.net and it is perfect! Sounds great, and fits in a lot of places
