Well yeah same airgap from Hughes. I mean just the way to put it in. Everything goes back to the same place just.. you know what I mean with the way it goes in, lol. When I put my CAI in I had to zip tie a place and make sure the tube it lays on is geting enough vaccuum, things like that. N.p. with it, its direct "bolt on", yes.

It is a direct bolt on. everything i took off i left lay right where it was and i put the new one on and plugged it in. i had it taken apart and put back together in 5.5 hours. and thats with trying to fgure out how to do it and filling fluids and such back up.


Problem im having now is my truck does not run

Hence? That's not a fair comment. Just because his truck isn't running doesn't really indicate that it's a form, fit or function issue relating to the intake. For all we know (or he for that matter) he forgot to reconnect the battery.

yeah it was just a joke. it ran after i installed the intake manifold, and it was easy and great.

but im having an oil pressure issue somewhere. Not from the Intake though

I have noticed that several people say that there truck idles like an old car on the choke, or vacume leak, when they first start up there truck. Mine only does this on the first startup when the truck is actualy cold. Ran perfect before but after changing to the fi intake it now does this. I called hughes and they said they have only heard of two cases of this and both were solved by vacume leaks. so if you are having this problem give them a call please.
