Default Stubborn hub nut

cant get my hub bearing nut off. im going to try heat in the morning but someone came up with the idea of it being left handed threads, now i was trying both ways trying to unlock the rust but it wasnt moving. any truth to that its dark when i was working on it and i had to stop.

man my blood was pumping and i coundnt get it off. cheater pipe and everything. rust is an under statement. haha

ok,just to make sure.. did ya let is soak in some pb blaster? that will take care fo the rust... but they are only 75Ftlbs on thsoe.. trust me, ive done three hibs on my old axle... and i wouldnt suggest heat... it is connected to a BEARING.. bad idea unless you are replaceing that bearing.. ( hub)

Sorry about the title. The bearing also needs to be replaced anyways its one of the two things the truck needs the other is the u joint in the axle.

see if you can find one of these penetrating fluids:
CRC Knock'er Loose
Cyclo Breakaway
AeroKroil
CRC Freeze off

spray one of them on the hub nut, tap it a few times to set up a vibration to help the fluid into the threads then try to crank it off.
if it dosn't come right away then spray it again and go get something to eat and when you get back it should come right off, that is if it isn't laying on the ground when you get back.

and don't waste your time with pb blaster, wd 40 or liquid wrench. they take days rather than minutes to penetrate rust.

ive always used pb on everything... give it a min, and give turn, came right off.. but i bet those ones you mentioned work even better... not trying to say pb is the best...

pb is not the best. i think you just got lucky and didn't have severely frozen bolts.

i'd **** on it before i'd use pb blaster, it'd probably work better.
