the stock coils are way to soft and spongy if you ask me. and the control arms arent helping with felx, they push the axle back out towards the bumper, basically to the center of the wheel-well

also, what size tires are you trying to run on his truck and what rims? you may run into some problems there also if you are trying to use the stock rims

you only need control arms with like a 6 inch lift no?

beleive it or not were tucking 37x12.5x18 on xd rockstars. trust me they will fit, were trimming the fenders. I got a bud rolling 38x15.5x18 with only a 3 inch body lift... we cut his fenders and he rubbed kinda bad if he turned sharp but nothing to rough... couldn't mud worth crap though. were heading to a truck show and we thought it would be cool if we took my lifted truck with 38's and his soon to be lifted with 37's... trying to throw a kit together real fast and hes down on money.

3" is the begging of when you need to start replacing steering and other parts like control arms. 5" you need them. 37" will never fit under a 3" lift.

im thinking the only way you get 37s is by having a rim that sticks out past the fenders and quarters lol. 35s hardley fit with 3 inch lift. but the OP seems like he knows everything

i post a pic when we get the lift on. i have a pic of my truck with a 3 inch lift with 36x13.5? so saying 35's barely fit on a 3 inch lift isn't true...

Yes it is. if you flew your truck 35 and a 3" lift will not work. Most guys on here that flex them out run 3" bd and 3" suspension or 5" suspension.
