4.88. You need them front and rear. Let a shop do them. You are looking at 2k for them installed. http://www.ringpinion.com/ You will need a new front carrier.

It might be ok if you never took it off pavement but then whats the point. And he said in another post he bought the truck like that i think i might let it sit until i got gears in it. That tranny is cussing him like crazy. It would be like playin russian ruelette, eventually its gonna go.

If this is a 1500 series then it probably wont last too long running 38's offroad. I have 4.88's and 38's because 5.13's was too high for daily driving. You can get 4.56's or 4.88's. Both will work. Once those are in then you have to worry about breaking shafts and damaging the transmission. Those are big tires for little parts.

god bless you for using the search!!!
to make absolutely certain (and to also facilitate an easy return if they are wrong) call up Moe's Performance, or Randy's Ring and Pinion and talk to them..
i'm pretty sure yo have a 9 1/4 corporate rear end, and a dana 44 front.. you can get motive 4.56's and master install kit for $600 or so at Moe's..
