Default "So dad, where the hell did I put the dash?"

My dad and I had some quality time with the PurplDodge last weekend. Look at what we did:

It really wasnt that hard of a job. Just some heavy lifting, awkward positions, and tight spaces. I mean, we probably knocked this out in 3 hours with me doing most of the work. (You guys like the rat's nest under the sterring column?)

Tommorow or Wednesday the A/C guy is coming out and de-charging the A/C system so we can get the HVAC box out and change the heater core and A/C evaporator core.
BTW I ordered my heater core from MOPAR.BIZ (So it is a Mopar part), and this thing is very high quality. Brass and Copper just like the original and comes with all of the foam. I just got the Evap core from NAPA.

Thats not that bad. My dad and I pulled the whole column before the dash. And I definitely agree on the tight spaces and awkward positions lol

I think I'm gonna pull the column before I put it back in.

Wow, you spent less than we did! Course it was my dad's choice on the $180 Mopar heater core.

I am one to buy stock/factory parts as well, but there obviously sure isn't anything special about the factory heater core, so why buy another one... especially at that price!

Anyway, have fun with the project! Nothing like some good quality father/son time!
