How to retrieve error codes
sorry i cant help with ur problem but how exactly do u do the key trick? i read something about turning the key on and off like 3 times or something like that and i couldnt get it to work. sorry its kinda OT

basically you cycle the key off and on 3 times, and the 3rd time youll see Pxxx on the digital odo.

you have to do just that fast, also make sure its off for atleast a few mins befroe trying again, as it wouldnt work for me after doing it the first time.

Its pretty simple, really. Turn the key from the off position to the on position (just before starting) 3 times, and on the 3rd time leave it in the on position. The code(s) will pop up where the digital odometer is. If the check engine light is not on, no codes will show (P-done).

i tried the turning the key on and off 3 times and it didnt work. i did wat max said and just held the reset button for the trip down then turned the key on. it said check then did this little speel and then just went to my odometer and didnt display any codes. but i know i have a code my CEL is on. i think it is a P0720 for my output speed sensor but it didnt show up
