Default Unknown electrical wiring

Well I was reading about the death flash on the forum so I had to go out and see if I had the sticker. Well fortunatly I didnt find an authorized update sticker anywere but when I was looking I found two things that I didnt notice before. One is an orange wire with a sticker on it saying pto that doesnt go anywere and a plug in for something. I was just wondering what these things are for and is there suppose to be anything hooked up to them?

that little wire is only used on a truck equipped with the factory plow option, if you dont have the factory plow package it just hangs there, dont know about the plug though

What could be more descriptive here Miami, how bout an example so I don't run afoul of the non descriptive titles police here in the future.
"Unknown weird orange wire & plug hooked up to nothing in engine compartment, I want to know what does it hook up to" maybe ?

Really, I'm sure you don't need any unsolicited advice from me but it really is coming off that you are nit picking here, I notice this more and more ,,, And in this particular case, I could see if he just said "help" or "whats this thingy do?" ,,, But "Unknown electrical wiring" seems to be an honest faith effort to be as descriptive as possible concerning ,,, Unknown electrical wiring.

"Unknown electrical wiring" is Miami's edit of the original title. I had the same question, but I used a PM.

Do you really think me that stupid? It should have been obvious that I already edited the title and was simply informing the OP to use something better in the future. It isn't nitpicking, it is what a mod does and it has purpose. We would like to see members using the search function, but threads with non-sensical titles like "Please help" or "What does this do?" tend not to turn up in searches and therefore render little aid to someone who might have a similar or related query.

Anytime anyone wants to question how I do things in here, please PM me so I don't have to make you look silly in public.

Well scuze me, I had no way to divine that you edited the title.
If you're so fragile that you can't take any constructive criticism "in public", then obviously I had better not try anymore.
