It takes time, that's for sure. My best tip for easy removal is to go ahead and remove the accessory rack. Also, take the manifold out of the truck before trying to pull off the fuel rail, but you shouldnt have to do that unless you're painting or modifying your intake manifold. The only difficulties I ran into later were my own stupid mistakes ie: a forgotten wiring harness or untightened bolt. Just take your time and get a Haynes manual. It helps out a lot.
yeah best way to do it is to take off the accessory bracket by removing like 5 bolts a pick it up and flip it upside down while putting it on ur passenger side fender. be careful not to break the two hoses going to it though.
should paint your fuel rails and valve covers blue, that would look bad to the bones

So I've been reading alot about the plenum leak on the forum and I got one question about it. Do you have to take the throttlebody all the way off to see if its leaking. I really want my truck to last forever so Im trying to get all the preventive/problems fixed before anything major happens. Im no mechanic so how hard is it to fix the plenum leak cause I think I could it out if it doesnt require any speacial tools. I read the diy in the faq and it made it seem pretty hard.
Alright Im gonna do that tommorow and if its leaking im gonna get it fixed after christmas, and see if I can find some money for a fastman throttlebody right away to. Ive herd nothing but good about them
