I had the same thing in my truck. new plugs change the oil add some z-max makes a huge diff you wont belive how that little stuff can change everything.

Well it could one thing or a combination of things Cody, and since its an almost 9 year old truck, and I don't know how its been maintained or how many miles are on it...or what "slacking" actually means as far as performance.
But heres's the "short" list, based on your trucks age.
Tune up
Plenum leak
Timing chain
O2 sensor(s)
Tranny (slipping, shuddering)
Plugged converter
Bad gas
Map sensor
That's the short list. MAybe just spraying out the throttle body (with it wide open, motor off) and dumping some injector cleaner with de icer in it will help.
mine started stalling again today....had to keep my foot on the get for 10 mins before it would idle....
I shouldnt have said it was running great yesterday....it heard me
maybe your gas station just switched over to the winter mix fuel. I live in Florida so I don't know alot about this, but this post is typical for this time of year. I am sure that someone that knows more about winter gas than me will confirm or deny.
ok there too many people using the same avatar.... its confusing lol... its not the gas for me since its done this before....then cleared up like today...
augie i would check to see if the ground is making a good connection to the battery. my was doing something quite similar it sounds like. i just had to clean the ground put it back on and "wiggle" it around to make sure it had a good connection.
