The Guy I bought the truck from is a Paster and I found a bill of sales and he bought the truck with a blown tranny and hail damage he fixed the hail damage and he called around and found the cheapest rebuild. Also he repaired the dents because He also does paint less dent removal.

I had a bad gov pressure soleniod and sensor and if it is bad you will get a 1741 error on a code reader....also my tranny went into limp home mode....it wouldnt shift out 2nd gear...only had first and second...you could sometimes get it to shift by punching the pedal to the floor momentarily.

2 quarts low is pretty drastic, if you were running that low for any length of time you probably killed the tranny from excess heat.

Thanks to everybody for your input. I ended up putting in a a salvage yard tranny with a 2 year warranty they gave me a new filter. I had to flush the tranny lines put a new cooler and bypass the radiator which already was and i installed a temp gauge and a cooling fan on the cooler. I have had it up to 180 and then I run low range while plowing and when it drops below 160 i go to 4 high.
