Misfire
While driving, the truck runs through the gears fine. No misfires or sputters when starting from a stop and driving. If I let off of the throttle all together while driving, it will not misfire. If I let off of it slightly to coast a bit or to maintain a constant speed, the misfires begin. Also, if I am in a parking lot and moving at a crawl, one my rpm's hit about 1500 it will begin jerking and misfiring.
I will be diving into this issue again on Friday as that is my day off. Going to rerout the wires as per the tsb and pull the distributer cap and check the sensor there. Am also going to pull the airbox and look into the throttle body to see if I can see any oil. My truck seems to be burning oil now between oil changes, and there are no oil leaks anywhere.
If there are any other suggestions, please feel free to post.

I don't see that there was ever a resolution posted to this issue that SKYDIVINGME and others were having. I am having the exact issue... only the last few times after replacing parts the misfire is there immediately (no grace period). I've most recently replaced plug wires, dist cap and rotor with Mopar and routed the plug wires in accordance with the TSB. Previously have replaced cam sensor (pickup plate), coil and plugs (NGK V-Fire). No oil in the bottom of the intake.
This gradually began after I replaced the heads, cat and cat-back [done by an exhaust shop, aftermarket parts). The reason I did all that is the head gasket blew due to a cracked head. This in turn caused the cat to go bad from the steam/antifreeze in the exhaust (yes, I made the mistake of limping a few miles home when it blew).
So the easy parts left to replace are crankshaft position sensor, O2 sensors. Then I can get into fuel injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump, fuel line. Of immediate suspect is the CPS and maybe the fuel line that attaches to the fuel rail (I had to replace the connector with an aftermarket clip... wondering if that is causing some kind of issue).
Any help would be appreaciated.
Thanks

Probably not O2 sensors, but, if you haven't replaced them after the headgasket, it would be a good idea. Burnt coolant eats 'em up.
Check your fuel pressure, and swap your plugs for some regular old champion coppers. These trucks don't really care for the high zoot sparkers.
Are you getting any codes? Is it specific cylinders that are missing? Or are you just getting random misfire?

I had the exact same problem for about 3 months , after installing new plugs , wires , cap , button , and headeres all at once. Finally after rerouting wires and changing plugs back to stock ones as well as checking numerous other things , my problem ended up being , a bad Distributor cap . Check your cap again , could have got a lemon .
