1997 5.9 4x4 auto. 57,400 miles. Runs great although it uses about a quart and a half between oil changes.

Guess I'll get the plenum done in the spring if I decide to keep the truck.

Less than 4500 a year. Is it your Sunday truck or what ? That's not much oil per change. How often do you change the oil ?

This truck belonged to a friend of mine who bought it new back in '97. His job provides him a car that he keeps at home for all work related driving so the Ram sat most of the week and only saw use after work, on the weekends and vacations.

I, on the other hand use it everyday. I have an '07 Mustang GT (11,600 miles) that is my fair weather weekend ride. My job is 25 miles each way so I am putting like 250+ a week on the Ram. Change the oil at 3,000.

Dude, it can handle it, and it sounds like it's gonna be a great truck ! I love the Mustang, my son has a 66 coupe, his first car and he has owned it for 10 years.

Here's the Mustang for ya.

Here's a little tribute to the Mopars I love so much. I had to do it.
