2001 1500 168,6xx miles second tranny, second water pump

 

1998 Dodge Ram Sport Quad cab 4x4 5.9 253,000 miles original engine, original trans replaced at 186,000 miles

 

they were trying to hide the miles.. they wanted $8,500 for the truck.. then i showed them the car fax.. i ended up giving them $4,000 cash... they were trying to play it off that it didn't have a new tranny and it was all original.. that fact was they got the cheap and though none of their customers would run a car fax on any of their cars.. they sell cheap cars like my truck was the highest price vehicle on the lot!.. they've since closed and it has opened under a new name and different management

 

I got a 1997, i'm the 4th owner. 178,898 miles.

 

96 v10, 3rd owned (I think). Bought it for $1000 last fall. Made it road legal and the odometer now reads 171,046.

 

1999 5.9l 4x4, 3rd owner, 129xxx miles (18xxx driven by me since last November) Original tranny, but if this one goes, I'm swapping in a 5 speed manual.

 

2000 5.9L 97,000 miles

 

2002 5.9L with 113,000

 

that tranny lasted a while. i've said it before, if you own a dodge 150k miles on the origonal tranny is somethin to say.
