1996 Ram 5.9L 360 Auto. 115K. No issues yet. Unknown about the tranny, says it was serviced at 108K So does that mean rebuilt? It had a box for flush that wasn't marked. Only had the service box marked. Any ideas?

well he's the deal on the 242,xxx... I got the truck about 2 years ago from a dealer.. the odo read 83,xxx at that time... this was because they had a new tranny put in it... i did a carfax and the last entry was a shop in Missouri and the odo reading was 170,000 at that time...the odo reads 155,xxx right now.. so i figured my milage by (155,xxx-83,xxx)= 72,xxx + 170,xxx= 242,xxx... either way I know I've personaly put 72,xxx miles on this truck and I know the last owner had a new tranny installed at 170,000

So why is the odo different? Someone changed the cluster? Someone tried to hide miles?
