Default Dash lighting

I don't drive much at night, so I never really noticed, but it appears that the panel with the headlight switch is completely dark even when the lights are on. The only thing that lights up there is the little indicator for the fog lamps. Is this correct? Shouldn't something light up just so you can find the switch easy at night?

Dont order a brand new switch, take the black bezel cover off ( very carefully, you know about dodge plastic) There are 3 screws that holds the switch in place, 1 on top, 2 on bottom. Pull the entire thing out, there is a bulb in there that you can replace. DONE. lol

^1+ Had a friend do this and I just happened to show up the day he talked about putting his new switch in. You'll really want to pull the switch and check it first since the turn style switches aren't cheap. Last time I priced one, it was right at $50.00 with my discounts. (which is a killer on some things and not even worth using on others)

We pulled that switch out and it was just the little bulb. So, in the end, a $50.00 fix turned into a $.50 fix.

Yep, thats what I did with my LED mod. Just a little twist screw with a bulb in the end.

To the best of my knowledge, my headlight switch has never lit up.
