So, i bought myself a 3'' body lift (im too cheap for a suspension). any hints/trick/tips on installing this lift? One thing that i'm wondering on is how does a steering extension work?
No. but i read your signature. I am interested in how well that whip works. i was thinking of adding one along with my fiberglass 4 footer. maybe even put another 4ft fiberglass (at least for looks) and just hook up 3 antenna's.
you can get a 2.5" suspension lift for 160$, how much did the body lift cost?
i think you need to pay attention to brake lines and wires when installing a body lift since they're attached to the body and the frame/suspension. but i'm not sure.

the whip is great, got a buddy with a ham radio and i come in boomin on his end about 5 miles away, but transmitting isnt that good, i can fix though
and it was about $200 for the body lift, i already have a 2in suspension, but now it's starting to sag and i dont have a leveling kit, so i think im going to drop 2500 springs in it.
BFG for sure. Buckshots are nice but the BFG's wear much better and a lot less road noise. Just from what i've observed though.
i honestly like the "road noise", my buddy has a set of tsl superswampers, sounds like a damn train is riding next to you, but i think i might go with the bfg's
I havent had good experience with the bfg mud terrains or buckshots. Maybe got 10000 miles out of each. The MTZ's I have right now are rolling with 4000 miles and still have the nipples on them. I would just invest a little more and get the mtzs. They also grab in mud ten times better in my experience. Just my 2 cents though.
