yeah low blinker fluid can have an adverse effect on gas mileage.. in short takes more power for the gears to ingages to help it flow better... has to do with parisitc loss and such...

tb means throttle body. and along with tune up etc. how cold is it whee you live? cause my v10 gets about 12-13 mpg in the summer and when the temp drops so does my mpg its just the way it works sadly! on a cold day i only get 4-5 mpg

In my opinion, forget the "look down the TB" check. Many others, including myself, have done this, and not seen much of anything, so we thought our gaskets were fine. Then when you actually pull it to fix it "preventive" wise, you discover it has indeed blown. Mine had about half a quart of oil in the manifold.

If you have a 94-02 Ram 1500, and you or a previous owner have not replaced the plenum plate/gasket yet, it is leaking. Its just a matter of to what extent.

I get 12 MPG in town, 90% city / 10% highway. But I drive with a very heavy foot.

Maybe CEL light is burned out and you are running in closed loop or open loop can't remember which the PCM reverts to when you throw a code. I get about 8 mpg with a code.
