Has it just started to get poor MPG's or has it been like this for a while...oh wait, it's Ram. It's suppose to get that kind of MPG's. I'm getting about 4 blocks a gallon, and that's after the kegger mod! Seriously though, how long has it been like this?

don't forget to check the air in your spare tire, that can give bad mileage too

If they do, I hope they post a DIY for it.

i don't see any mention of gears. maybe i'm blind and it has been said.
3.55 (factory unless you have the off road package) and a 33.5-34" tire is going to be pretty brutal on mileage, as well as power.

With a difficulty rating of "challenging" I would suggest they bring it to a dealer if they are unfamiliar with vehicle maintenance...

305 tires with stock gears?.....it could be such a dog your always overgassing it to try to speed up...does your tranny ever even bother to shift into od and stay there?...(whats your rpm's at say 30mph? how about 65mph?) thats what happened to me on my jeep...terrible gas mileage and I couldnt use 5th gear....went from 4.10 to 4.56 gears and mpg improved a lot and i could use fifth gear again....
i have 35" tires and 4.56 gears and get about 12-13 mpg

actually theoretically depending on driving habits it can give the best mileage at certain speeds and cost of power. But in reality and at all around normal driving conditions it usually wastes a lot of unburn fuel in this configuration even so I cant see 5mpg?....thats nuts.

that combo driving at about 70mph a lot could get into the single digits on mileage.
