Default No cat / hollowed out cat

thinkin about either gettin rid of the stupid thing or hollowing it out... my only question is since there are O2 sensors before and after the cat will it throw off a code or make the truck run poorly.. or just in general mess anything up? the only reason im weary is because of the sensors.. other wise it would already be done.

thanks- Jay

Haven't messed with the cat personally, but I did look at Jegs for a 2.5" mandrel bent midpipe with no cat. Would definitely help flow and it was only $125. Might work well for one of you guys

I have been running no cat for about 6 months now, have not thrown a code. I have the pre-cat 02 sensor in a pipe and the post-cat 02 sensor ziptied under my truck to the tranny.

Havent thrown a code yet have close to 7,000 on it.
