I think thats the way Rams were meant to be! They were always classified as a "working man's truck" Mine was a work truck before it passed my hands, so I got a good one!

i can attest to that, my truck runs like a bat outta hell (if you ignore the leaky plenum and slow coolant leak), the trans shifts nice (softly when under light throttle, but it firms up if i have it planted)

now tomorrow, i'm going to have a truck with a dead motor and a blown tranny lol, i cursed myself

My truck was worked to death before i got it...Dont look at the pics i post and think not. Im very tricky with the cam. There's a spot in the bed where someone used to have tow a goosneck trailer. By looking at my bed i can tell this truck was a straight up workhorse. One thing that would make this truck look a hell of alot better is if i got a line X bed liner. (added to my list) But i got it because ive always loved 2nd gens and this one runs and shifts great! Tranny fluid still looks nice and red and smells new. The cab is in great shape too!

Every farm truck I have been around runs great but looks like **** and it usually runs good because most farmers I know do there own mechanical work and fix things when the go bad before it starts to break other things and also there not normally performance abused
