Default Hood Opinions

If you can't tell I like to get outside thoughts on things and here is another. Wanting a new hood there are 2 that I am looking at. They are within $5 of eachother. There are a couple of other factors on price. One is Fiberglass and comes unprimered. The other is steel and comes primered (thinking cost here) One guy also mentioned that fiberglass hoods cost more to get painted due to prep time. If you have any experience with putting on an aftermarket hood i.e. cost to get it painted, hastle etc please chime in also let me know option A or B. Also I know option B is on a differnt body style than my 01 but item description says 94-01.

Option A (steel)

Option B (fiberglass)

I cant be much help with pricing, but I think the steel looks better (and I'm sure would hold up better as well)

steel is a lot better than the fiberglass, and yes, big $$ for prep work to get them to look right, unless you are looking to save a few pounds, i wouldnt mess with the fiberglass,

here is mine right after paint and install
