Question Lifting it more, What parts need to be replaced.

I'm going to add 2" spacers to my 3" lift coils. I know I need a drop pitmanram and new control arms and shocks but what else will I need?

The rear end will be fine it has 2 blocks and the add a leaf.

I do plan on dropping a ranch hand on the front end come spring so that will help take some of the lift out.

I think you will need a sway bar drop bracket. I don't know what else lol.

Yep, if you keep the sway bar you will need longer links or drop brackets for it. You will also need a track bar drop bracket and/or an adjustable unit (if you get a drop pitman arm you should also drop the track bar).

Are you stacking blocks on the factory one? Do you already have the stacked blocks and add-a-leaf? If you do and you are leaving the rear the way it is now and then you go up 3 more inches in the front, well, its gonna look like poo (if you like the rake you have now).

Holy wheel hop is correct. That's what happens when you start stacking lifts. Everyone knows it, don't try to deny it.

I DON'T HAVE WHEEL HOP. I would have noticed it by now if I had it. I did some googling into wheel hop and my truck does not hop buck move side to side.

Hey kid...
Gettin' into the big leagues huh? Good for you.
Looks like you're getting all the right pieces together too. Smart moves.

You'll need a track bar bracket for the 5 inch lift if you don't get an adjustable bar, and you'll want the bracket that has the brace on it that goes to the steering box. Otherwise you'll spend lots time retightening things you don't need to.
Since you had to replace a bent tie rod I probably can't talk you into a 1 ton conversion. You can do that the next time you bend the drag link.

Since you are going to the trouble of lifting your front end properly, lets talk about your rear lift.
I know you don't have wheel hop. That's good. Sometimes I don't know why I get it. I only know I'm glad I don't have extra blocks stacked in there. I HAVE seen what happens when one comes flyin' (yes, they fly) out. Happened to a friend of mine. He never had wheel hop, just nicked a curb while turnng. I can't imagine the sound (he said it was like a 12 guage) but I saw all the collateral damage. Plus we had to get hs truck off the street. Extracting a 36 inch mudder out of a wheel well/truck bed is not a fun time in traffic. Not that you're going that way but...

Since I assume you're gonna try Paragon again, you might rethink the block thing. I mean, you went to all the trouble to get the right parts up front. Adding a BDS 3 inch AAL isn't gonna break your bank account, but it will eliminate the potential.
At least your friends were thinkin' of ya. I'm just an old dog...
Peace!

If you wouldn't mind once your all done if you could give me the aprox. cost of all the extra parts such as the drop brackets. I was looking to add another 2-3 inches to my truck but I'm also not sure what I need and what the cost is vs. a body lift.
