one of my intake bolts snapped,
if you do the o2, only do the upstream,
are you looking at the kit with bolts or just pan? they sell em 2 diff ways, when you get your intake gaskets, you can get just for intake or for both for a tad bit more, some say, you can take your vin to the dealer and they will tellyou if its been flashed....look for hemifevers profile, it did say in his sig what the current price was, im thinkin $399 but not sure

I'm gonna get the whole set. The pan, the bolts, and the gaskets from hughes. Did you have to drill out the bolt that snapped and then tap it?

I just did mine and had 1 bolt break, it had about 1" of thread up from the head so I put paper towel in lifter valley and turned it out with my huge slip joint pliers, worked like a charm.

I modded my kegger myself following pics and instructions from posters on dodge truck forums, it was a bit of work but turned out great. I already did the throttlebody clean up and have a Mopar Perf round open element air cleaner on it, I love this air cleaner looks musclecar, works nice and sounds awesome at WOT!

The gaskets that came in the Hughs kit look the same as the stockers, definately get the new bolts with the kit, apparently you have to use new??? maybe cause bolt strech or something... I put a bit of antisieze on threads and torque'd in proper sequence to 12ftlbs as per service bullitin I found somewhere on the net (5.2 Magnum intake torque specs)

All in all I found the Hughs kit to be really good. I replaced the cap & rotor (wires & plugs were fairly new and there is a service bullitin on the rerouting of the plug wires. Put the 180deg Tstat in, but living in Canada in the winter the heater actually sucks now and I'm not sure if it really would give any perf gains, but whatever.

After a few miles and the computer adjusted the truck runs really good, actually it is like driving a new truck, alot more power, hauling my sled and deck thru the mountains in BC now is wayyyyy better I notice it doesnt kick down nearly as much and can hold speeds/rpm under load much better.

I also have previously installed a Magnaflo highflo cat and muffler 2 3/4" pipe to a 3 1/2" outlet, it sounds really good and I could feel more power after installing it, I had a gutted cat before and I hated its sound. Next shorty headers and a better than stock Y pipe.

My $.02
Cheers & Merry Christmas!!!!

i'd recommend hughes plate and bolt kit over M1. $150 vs 700.
tune up.
superchips tuner. fixes death flash and adjusts speedo.
choose some or all ----
1.7 rockers, posilok, britebox, etc...

Ok so just an update. Today i ordered my plenum kit with plate gaskets and all that. But my next question is do you guys have any suggestions on what distributor cap and rotor should I get? are the cheap ones ok or is there another brand. I was just going to get the generic brand but just thought I would ask.
