headlights and HIDs

well there you go the kits sold for use in headlights designed for halogens are illegal... kinda what I figured and advised against ( search other hid threads if you search you will see that)
It simply makes no sense to outlaw kits were HID's are sold in the correct housings....and its laws like that (and j walking) that are never enforced because they have little or no merit...if they are worried about standards they should make a certification to meet like they do with everything else.... you cant tell people they have to buy a $30,000 car to be able to see as well as the people driving them...its unamaerican stupid law or not...alcohol was illegal once too people didnt pay too much attention to that law either...
If HID's were so overrated you wouldnt see them on every car over 45grand...

The local car audio/starter shop has a huge sign stating they sell and install HID kits... guess the police cant read on main street here in the city..

I have to give you that ....but since 90% of your posts seem to be just disagreeing and arguing with others here as as apposed to my 50 /50 ratio of trying to be productive and actually help other see the big picture......whatever makes you feel better.......
