Default headlights and HIDs

i was just wondering if anyone has or had these headlights http://www.k2motor.com/4lhpram94ks.html i ordered them and i ordered 10000k HIDs 9004 high/low beams and just wondering if anyone that has these headlights were able to use the stock lights or had to change to another light thanks

10000K? What the hell? Those things are gonna be more Purpl than my truck!!! Get something that you can see and wont blind the oncoming traffic, like 4500K.

And the 9004 bulbs wont work with those. Those use a H7 bulb for the low beam. You would probably be better off getting some Sport headlights.

damn it! no i gotta send the bulbs back lol i didnt even think to ask on here or anuything b4 i ordered i was just kinda in the moment and ordered lol but by the pics and reviews i read they said 10000Ks were blue and 12000s were purple. what do u mean by sport headlights?

It doesnt really matter what the pics say. 8000K and above will be purple. Anything over 6000K is hard to see because the wavelengths of blues and purple are shorter than that of white and yellow. Like I suggested, go with something around 4000K-6000K.

Sport headlights. They came on 1999-2001 Sport edition Rams:

i have 8k it isnt mu h blue its like a white blue, I have 3 friends with 10k they aren't purple at all. they are blue. I've got another buddy with 12k and when they first fire up they are purple but turn blue, they are ridiculous blue tho. 15k is purple... fyi

yea i ordered the headlights off ebay for 173.00 and the HID kit from TopHIDkits.com there prices are great! If anyones look to upgrade i would check them out i got 10k with relays and lifetime warrenty for 102.94!
