Default Plenum Questions

So, I got the Hughes kit today for Xmas. I have everything torn apart but I noticed that a couple of small pieces of gasket have fallen down next to the rods. I got what I think is all of it out. Here is my question. Should I take a small suction thing and suck all the little pools of oil out. I noticed a small amound of sludge on the wishbones too. If I got a lint free rag, would it be ok or do more bad than good?

I will change the oil immediatley after the plenum is fixed.

Here are a couple of picts:

I would just make sure all of the gasket material is picked out. The sludge can be handled with a oil change after the engine has warmed. Some seafoam in the crankcase before the oil change could help clean it up.

Ha yeah the sticker will not go in, its just taped on. Actually I already took it off. I was just worried thinking the worst that a piece of gasket I didnt see went into the oil pump and locked it up. If you guys say itll be fine, then I will just change the oil after. This sludge though, is thick stuck on sludge. Oil change isnt going to get rid of it. I mean its not bad, just a small amount. Ive seen ALOT worse on the engines Ive torn apart.

i had some crispy stuck on sludge in a few spots in the lifter valley, i just soaked up all the oil and picked at all the sludge to get it out of there. i think it'll be fine on mine. but i didn't have the same type of gasket as you, mine was a metal compression gasket so i didn't lose any pieces. hopefully your pieces are small enough to come out with the old oil when you change it.
